There’s a new open source federated search tool out there called LibraryFind. Jeremy something has posted LibraryFinds release at the LibraryFind blog and here’s also a blog entry from OSS4lib. LibraryFind is developed by the Oregon State University Libraries.

Conference on mobile learning in Australia
MLearn is a conference with aim to promote the development of mobile learning. It will be hosted here in Australia between 16-19 October 2007, in Melbourne. Here’s a brief conference description:
